Operating in 12 major cities coast-to-coast, Back on My Feet recruits members at homeless and residential facilities and begins with a commitment to run three days a week. The second phase of the program, Next Steps, provides educational support, job training programs, employment partnership referrals and housing resources. Since 2007, Back on My Feet has served more than 5,500 individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness and engaged more than 100,000 volunteers and supporters. Our members have run a collective 500,000 miles and obtained more than 3,500 jobs and homes.

The Booth Centre is a community centre run with and for people affected by homelessness.
The Booth Centre provides a warm welcome, an opportunity to belong, to gain a purpose and rebuild lives. Our programme includes activities such as volunteering, creative projects and sports, as well as training and help to gain employment. We also support people to improve health and wellbeing, to access emergency accommodation, and to secure and maintain a permanent home.
The Centre is run in partnership with the people who attend and they apply their skills and experience to influence strategic change.

The Canadian Observatory on Homelessness (COH) is a non-partisan research and policy partnership between academics, policy and decision makers, service providers and people with lived experience of homelessness. Led by Stephen Gaetz, President & CEO, the COH works in collaboration with partners to conduct and mobilize research designed to have an impact on solutions to homelessness. The COH evolved out of a 2008 Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council funded project called the Canadian Homelessness Research Network and is housed at York University

Our measurable impact is demonstrated by the fact that over 93% of clients who graduate from the shelter, receive Rapid Re-Housing funding, and continue on with our community case management program remain in permanent housing during their first year out of the shelter, which is a very vulnerable time.
