Our Mission is to encourage and strengthen the partnership between the citizens of Milton and our public safety first responders. MFRF is dedicated to providing critical resources to those who make the city of Milton a safe place to live, work and visit. Public safety cannot rest on the shoulders of law enforcement and firefighters alone. As much as we all need the police and firefighters, they need our support as well. MFRF raises funds for programs through a variety of events that are sponsored through donations from local businesses, civic organizations, neighborhoods, and individuals.

In 1883 the citizens of Missouri realized that the state could not prosper if the health of its residents was not protected. Epidemics of smallpox, typhoid and cholera severely threatened the health and welfare of Missourians. Concerned physicians led a citizens’ campaign to establish a state agency responsible for the promotion of the people’s health and the prevention of disease. On March 29, 1883, the Missouri Legislature responded by creating a State Board of Health.

The State Unit on aging administers a wide variety of senior based services for Montana residents who are age 60 or older. Programs and services are primarily delivered by a network of 10 Area Agencies on Aging which reach all geographic areas of the state. Our goal is to provide services that allow seniors to remain independent.
Older adults are offered a choice in living and care arrangements. We also have programs to protect their rights and personal autonomy.
