The Global Initiative is an independent civil-society organization, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, with a globally dispersed Secretariat and a high-level advisory board.
Its network members include prominent law-enforcement, governance and development practitioners who are dedicated to seeking new and innovative strategies and responses to organized crime.
Consistent with the aim to go global, and with one of the original objectives of the GI-TOC in mind, this strategy will continue to work towards putting in place the building blocks for a global strategy against organized crime.

GoodCall is a consumer-focused education and personal finance website that launched in April 2015. It is based in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

The company provides a free scholarship search tool, which compiles thousands of scholarships searchable by requirements like major, gender and ethnicity. GoodCall also allows students to determine how manyscholarships they need to apply to, based on competitiveness, award amount and other criteria.
GoodCall promotes open access to information and regularly releases research studies featuring data analysis on topics like Best Places for Female Entrepreneurs, Best Cities for Teachers and The Best Small Cities for Law School Graduates. GoodCall is also a source for higher education news.

GoodCall started with a scholarship search engine, and in October 2015 acquired SchoolSoup.com, an online database of college scholarships. The company has expanded to include resource guides to help consumers make smart financial decisions throughout life, from college and student loans to careers, retirement and other major financial decisions.

The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation has been operating since 1976 with two main purposes. We offer grants to individual visual artists through two programs: an annual Individual Support Grant and a separate program to assist visual artists in cases of catastrophic events through an Emergency Grant program. We also maintain an archive on the art and life of Adolph Gottlieb and organize exhibitions of his art and that of others.

The National Crime Prevention Strategy has the following objectives:

The establishment of a comprehensive policy framework which will enable government to address crime in a coordinated and focused manner which draws on the resources of all government agencies, as well as civil society.
The promotion of a shared understanding and common vision of how we, as a nation, are going to tackle crime. This vision should also inform and stimulate initiatives at provincial and local level.
The development of a set of national programmes which serve to kick start and focus the efforts of various government departments in delivering quality service aimed at solving the problems leading to high crime levels.
The maximisation of civil society's participation in mobilising and sustaining crime prevention initiatives.
Creation of a dedicated and integrated crime prevention capacity which can conduct ongoing research and evaluation of departmental and public campaigns as well as facilitating effective crime prevention programmes at provincial and local level.
This National Crime Prevention Strategy is based on a fundamentally new approach by government. In particular, it requires the development of wider responsibility for crime prevention and a shift in emphasis from reactive "crime control"; which deploys most resources towards responding after crimes have already been committed, towards proactive "crime prevention" aimed at preventing crime from occurring at all.
