We invest in changing lives across three continents by building sustainable and open market economies wherever we work. This year and next we anticipate committing everything we do to helping our countries deal with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. But our vision for the future extends far beyond the recovery from the virus alone. By 2025 we aim to be a ‘majority green’ Bank, with more than half our business volume invested in climate finance. We will also promote equality of opportunity through access to skills and employment, finance and entrepreneurship for women and young people. And we will help unleash the power of digital technology to bring about change for the better. We will do all this through our tried and tested business model of investment and technical advice, mainly for the private sector, and help with policy reform.

FAIR Canada seeks to advance the interests of investors and the integrity and fairness of Canadian capital markets by, among other things:
1. making submissions to securities regulators, stock exchanges, governments and other bodies on priorities, policy, legislative change and enforcement to advance the interests of investors;
2. proactively identifying emerging issues that affect investors and seeking reform to mitigate harm to investors; and
3. identifying actual conduct by issuers, registered persons and other market participants that is, or may be, detrimental to investors and, where appropriate, encouraging action to enhance investor rights and protections.
