National Child Abuse Coalition
The National Child Abuse Coalition was formed in 1981 by a group of national voluntary and professional organizations. The Coalition embodies a commitment to coordinate advocacy efforts on behalf of abused and neglected children. The National Child Abuse Coalition has become a resource for advocacy and a focal point for leadership and strategy on legislative issues in child maltreatment.
We seek to prevent child abuse, neglect and maltreatment before families come to the attention of the child welfare system and the child protective services (CPS) system. We also work to protect and support children and families that come to the attention of CPS.
